  1. Did you have this? I had it after my first baby (repetitive lifting), and ended up getting surgery on one of my wrists for it. It's also the reason my husband started working full-time since I couldn't do patient care while wearing a brace. I was so glad I didn't get it with my second baby!

  2. Elissa, I did have this. I still have it but manage it. I never had surgery because the two or three cortisone shots I received worked long enough for me to change my habits and get on a routine of stretching that has saved me. Mouse now in the left hand, alternating which thumb presses space bar, starting and shaking hands every couple of hours. It's really helped to the point that I'm not inhibited at all nor do I have pain. Occasionally, I can feel it start to flare up but before it affects me, I ramp up my exercises.
